A starting point for your setup

MashON includes saddle-height guidance in Useful Tools for cycling. It helps you work through an initial setup value and keep a reference you can return to. It is designed as a preparation tool alongside tire-pressure planning and equipment tracking.

Use consistent measurements

Follow the measurement instructions shown in the tool and double-check your entries. A saved value is only useful when you know how it was measured. If you change the bike or components, review the setup rather than assuming a previous value still applies.

Save a reference

Save your setup values to make them easier to revisit. Keeping the information in MashON reduces the need to remember a measurement or look through old notes before your next ride.

Where can I find it?

Open Useful Tools in the iPhone app and choose the saddle-height tool in the cycling helpers. The website's pace and interval calculators are separate tools for running and walking; saddle-height guidance is used in the app.

Comfort needs more than a number

A calculated starting value cannot account for every rider, bicycle, or fit preference. Make adjustments carefully and seek a qualified bike fitter if you are unsure. This tool does not provide a medical assessment or replace an individual fit.
