Build a schedule around your gear
Maintenance reminders give recurring equipment tasks a place in MashON. Name the task, add useful details, and choose whether it repeats after a time interval or accumulated distance. You can connect a reminder to an equipment item.
Choose time or distance
A time-based reminder fits tasks you check weekly, monthly, or yearly. A distance-based reminder uses recorded equipment usage to help you remember work after accumulated activity. Set an interval appropriate for your equipment and its manufacturer's guidance.
Record the work when it is done
Mark a task completed after you have actually carried it out. MashON retains completion events and uses the completion information for the next reminder cycle. That keeps a record of the work as well as the upcoming task.
Enable notifications if you want alerts
Check your notification permissions and reminder preferences if you want the app to notify you. Device settings can affect delivery. You can still review maintenance reminders in the app rather than relying only on an alert.
Reminders do not inspect equipment
A schedule cannot diagnose damage or decide that gear is safe to use. Check equipment before heading out and follow the manufacturer's service instructions. Recorded mileage is useful context, but condition and unrecorded use also matter.
