Weather beside your activity
Weather information appears alongside the activity experience, so you can check conditions without losing the context of your Mash. It is especially useful when the same familiar cycling route feels different from one day to the next.
Read direction as well as speed
The wind view uses animated lines to make wind direction easier to understand. MashON also shows estimated wind effects. Treat these as context for your effort, not an exact measurement of the conditions at every point on the route.
What do I need?
Weather is included with MashON Pro. Information depends on location access, service availability, and a working connection. A missing or old reading should not be interpreted as calm weather. Check the displayed information before relying on it.
Motion that respects your settings
Wind animation is reduced or paused when appropriate for Reduce Motion, power saving, or an inactive app. The purpose is to communicate conditions while keeping battery use and accessibility in mind.
Plan for changing conditions
Weather can change faster than a forecast or an app update. Use local forecasts and your own judgment when deciding when to start, turn around, or stop. Weather insights are an aid to planning, not a severe-weather warning system.
