What is a live Mash?
A live Mash is a shared activity that you create or join on iPhone. Participants appear on the group map and share live activity information during the session. It is useful for a weekend ride, a regular running group, or a walk with friends who want to keep the group in view.
Invite people to your activity
Create a Mash, select your activity type, and share its invitation link, QR code, or Mash code with your group. Each participant opens MashON to review and join the activity. Keep private invitations within the group you intend to invite.
Follow the group while moving
Use the map to see participant positions and the activity dashboard for available readings. The ride views bring together the map, group status, quick messages, and weather when available. Location and measurements depend on each person's permissions, device, sensors, and connection.
How many people can join?
Free group Mashes support up to 3 participants in total. Pro group Mashes support up to 10 in total. For a crew that meets regularly, a Mash Team adds persistent membership, schedules, and Team Chat. See the Free and Pro guide for subscription details.
Live location has limits
A shared map is useful context, but a position may be delayed or unavailable when GPS or connectivity is poor. Agree on a meeting point before you start and stop safely when interacting with the app. A Mash is not an emergency tracking service.
